Mosst Excellent = Wayne's World Pizzeria & Frozen Dessert Cafe

Nanuet, N.Y. welcomes a new addition to the scene:  Wayne's World Pizzeria & Frozen Dessert Cafe where the world of choices are available.  'Awesome' Appetizers, 'Most Excellent' Entrees, 'Superior' Salads, 'Pizzalicious' Pizzas, and 'Rock on' Frozen Yogurt and IceCream; and if that's not enough, the chef can make anything you want even if its not on the menu! Love that kind of friendly service!

The colorful space and delicious menu are thoughtfully created by the Mack Family of Suffern, NY.  "Come Hungry, Leave Happy," is their motto. I was able to experience that as I enjoyed a wonderful tasting of pizza, pasta and chicken dishes where the ingredients prove to be tasty and flavorful! Love the VIP treatment before the opening!

I am a pizza snob and I have to say that the dough, sauce and cheese combo is outrageous. I especially loved the meatball pizza. Excellent spices. I may have to have the meatball hero next time!

Meatball pie!

Sausage and Bacon pie!

The Chicken Scarpariello is sweet and spicy. Yumm!

The Chicken in the Marsala was lightly coated and braised with Marsala wine and mushrooms. How good does that look?

Fresh Vegetables and Chicken!

My favorite was the Fettucine Alfredo. Tasty, Creamy... Perfection!

Waynes World opens Memorial Day Weekend! Go check it out!

Housing Works Design On A Dime Event 2015

I attended the Design on a Dime opening night party to benefit Housing Works at the Metropolitan Pavilion.  This was the eleventh year for the event where 1600 attendees came together to get a look at inspirational room vignettes created by more than 60 top interior designers while shopping for new high end merchandise discounted up to 70% off retail. Yes shop too...  you could feel the high energy in the room. I would stop to chat knowing that the person I was talking to was anxious to shop and glare at all the design. Once the bell rings, all bets are off. All the proceeds from the event go towards Housing Works building their newest supportive housing development, the Hull Street Residence.

Some of my snaps from the event:

Mingled with friends old and new: Rebecca Reynolds & Ashley, Tamara Stephenson, Jonathan Legate, Stephen Fanuka & Tyler Wisler, Jennifer Flanders.

The opening night had a fab party vibe, totally mobbbed! Celebs like Andy Cohen from Bravo and Ryan Serhant from Million Dollar Listing were also abound. Below are some images of my fave one-of-a-kind vignettes decorated with donated merchandise collectively from over 400 charitable home decor brands:
